Placement season can be overwhelming. With dozens of companies visiting campus and thousands of students competing, you need a structured plan. Here's the roadmap I wish I had when I was preparing.
Practice: 15 problems (start with Easy, move to Medium)
Month 3: System Design & Mock Interviews
Week 9-10: System Design Basics
Database design (SQL vs NoSQL)
Caching (Redis)
Load balancing
API design
Week 11-12: Mock Interviews
2 mock interviews per week (use Pramp or peer practice)
Review and fix weak areas
Practice behavioral questions (STAR method)
Daily Schedule
8:00 AM - 9:00 AM → 1 new DSA problem (solve + understand editorial)
9:00 AM - 12:00 PM → College classes
2:00 PM - 3:00 PM → Revise yesterday's problems
3:00 PM - 5:00 PM → Work on your project
5:00 PM - 6:00 PM → 1 problem from weak area
8:00 PM - 9:00 PM → Read one technical blog post
